Read One Piece Manga Stream – One Punch Man MangaStream 2019

You may ask yourself what exactly is meant by Manga and MangaStream. Well, these are comics or graphic novels created in Japan or by creators in the Japanese Language. It conformed to a style developed in Japan in the 19th Century. The term Manga also refers to cartooning.

The word manga came into common usage in the late 18th Century with the publication of such works as Santo Kyoden’s picture book and in the 19th Century with such works as Aikawa Minwa’s Manga Hyakujo in 1814. In Japanese manga refers to all kinds of cartooning, comics and animation. Among English speakers, “manga” has the stricter meaning of “Japanese comics” in parallel to the usage of “anime”, in and outside Japan.

Manga as a medium includes works in a broad range of genres such as action-adventure business and commerce, comedy, detective, drama historical horror, mystery, romance, science fiction and fantasy, erotica, sports and games, and suspense among others. Manga is therefore spoken by people of all ages. Over time, however, Manga has steadily become a major part of the Japanese publishing history. As a result, therefore, many Manga has been translated into other languages. Manga has, therefore, gained a significant audience.

When you talk about the colors of Manga, it is common that they are typically printed in black and white. Surprisingly however there is an increase in full-color Manga or rather what you would call colorful Manga. The Japanese manga magazines have serialized Manga, each being presented in a single episode to be continued in the next issue of the magazine.

With the growing popularity in some manga series, some get animated during or after their run. They can sometimes also be drawn centering previously existing live-action or animated films.

Fortunately for Manga, there have been new ways for aspiring mangakas to upload and sell their manga online. This is all thank to the advent of the internet. The following are examples of digital manga that have been very useful for all mangakas, both the aspiring and the established:

Web Manga

Web manga has seen an increase thanks in part to image hosting websites where anyone can upload pages from their works for free. Most of these web manga, however, stick to the conventional black-and-white format despite some never getting physical publication. For any curious person about these sites, they should take a look at Pixiv which remains to be the most popular site where a host of amateur and professional works get published on the site.

Surprisingly enough, Twitter has also become a popular place for web manga with numerous artists releasing articles weekly on their accounts with the hopes of their works getting picked up or getting published professionally.

The rise of web manga has also been credited to smartphones and computers. This is simply because more and more readers are now able to read manga on their phones rather than from a print publication. As a result paper manga has seen a decrease over time while digital manga on the other side has been growing in sales each year.

Webtoons

Aside from web manga, webtoons have also been caught on in popularity as a new medium for comics in Asia. Unfortunately for webtoons, Japan has been slow to adopt them as the traditional format and print publication still dominates the way manga is created and consumed.

Comico, however, has defied all these odds to become one of the biggest publishers of webtoons in the world. It has also had success in the traditional Japanese manga market.

As of now Comico and Naver Webtoon are the only webtoon publishers that publish Japanese webtoons. Kakao is the third webtoon publisher and has also had success by offering licensed manga and translated Korean webtoons with their service Piccoma. All these companies credit their success to the webtoon pay model where users can purchase each chapter individually, instead of having to buy the whole book while also offering some chapters for free for a period allowing anyone to read a whole series for free if they wait long enough.

Other aspects of Manga include the following:

Characteristically with Manga, you generally don’t have people speaking politely to each other. If for instance, a male character refers to himself as “Watashi”, it would be a conscious decision by the writer and thus probably be some clue into how that character thinks and how his speech should sound like.

To learn a little Manga, another way to say “I” is “Boku”. This is more casual than “watashi” and much more gender-specific. 99% of the time you will hear it, it will be a guy saying it. This is historical of course how it has been. Nowadays gender norms have become a lot freer and thus you could hear a girl saying it though even then it would probably give the impression of someone as a little more tomboyish.

There will always be characters in Manga that just speak casually to everyone including their superiors. Or maybe in the heat of a panicked moment, one character will forget and refer to someone casually. The other character will thus chew them out even though they are in a life-or-death situation. This usually goes along with the “follows all rules to an obsessive fault” archetype or the “demands respect and won’t take any crap” archetype.

Manga influenced comics among original works, exist in various parts of the world.  Particularly, they are found in Algeria, China, Hong Kong Taiwan and South Korea.

The government’s support of manga in Japan has gone way longer especially by their step of including manga in the country’s education system. Since the year 2000, Kyoto Seika University in Japan has offered a highly competitive course in the manga. From that point, several universities and vocational schools established a training curriculum.

The Japanese manga industry grants a large number of awards mostly sponsored by publishers with the winning prize usually including publication of the winning stories in magazines released by the sponsoring publisher. The Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs has awarded the International Manga Award annually since May 2007.

From this point, it’s clear that manga is an important part of Japanese culture and language. It is also clear that it has stretched across the Japanese borders and is now a serious part. It, therefore, cannot be overlooked and should be accorded all the support it can get.
